The Pechersk Lavra (Cave Monastery) in Kiev - Ukraine

The Pechersk Lavra or Cave Monastery in Kiev is one of the oldest monasteries in Eastern Europe , it is the spiritual centre and the most sacred place in the Ukraine , so it comes as no surprise that it is included on the UNESCO list of World Heritage sites. The Ex Top-Secret Nuclear Submarine Base in Balaklava - Ukraine

One of the most interesting places I visited recently was in Balaklava in the Ukraine , which is situated 10km south east of Sevastopol , on the Black Sea Coast . This Beautiful and interesting little town is probably most famous for the Crimean War of 1854-1855, but now is evermore becoming reminiscent of a small seaside village in the south of France in its style (posted by Buckingham 6 years 62 days ago.)
